- 1/2 teaspoonground ginger
- 1 tablespoonolive oil or avocado oil
Almond Butter Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons almond butter
- 1 tablespooncoconut aminos
- 1 tablespoonrice vinegar
Coleslaw:
- 2 Tablespoons almond butter
- 3 Tablespoonrice vinegar
- 2 Tablespooncoconut aminos
- 1 Tablespoonwater
- 1/2 teaspoongarlic powder
- 1 teaspoonsesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoonground ginger
- 10 ozbag of coleslaw mix
- 1 tablespoonchopped cilantro
- 1head of cabbage
Directions
- In a bowl integrate turkey, shredded carrots, 1 tablespoon cilantro, green onion, salt, garlic powder and ground ginger. Blend with your hands or a wood spoon to fully combine.
- Turn your grill or pan on medium high heat and when the pan is hot, include oil. Place patties on the pan and cook for about 4 minutes per side, up until they reach an internal temperature level of 165\u00baF.
- In a small bowl integrate all of the almond butter sauce components and reserved.
- In another medium sized bowl integrate 2 tablespoons almond butter, 3 tablespoons rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons coconut aminos, 1 tablespoon water, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon sesame oil and 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger. Blend to fully combine then include coleslaw mix and cilantro and toss to coat.
- To make burger, peel pieces of cabbage and top with a burger patty, some almond butter sauce and coleslaw!
